Two personal diaries of R.E. McCabe of Charleston, West Virginia, containing notes on trips to Europe (1924) and California (1937). On the California trip he briefly describes Kansas City, Boulder, Denver, Santa Fe, Taos, and Los Angeles, muses on real estate values, and notes oil rigs and pipelines. There is a short genealogy of the Hayward family. The diaries also include references to the Ward, Fleming, Brooks, and Watson families. Also includes photographs of members of the Ward, Fleming, Brooks, and Watson families.

The Bryant Mangum collection includes 4 boxes of archival materials. The donation also included numerous published works including Fitzgerald first editions and Alice Adams first additions which are availble by title in Special Collections and Archives. The 4 boxes of archival materials include Bryant Mangum publications (books, chapters, articles, notes, reviews, etc.); draft samples of Bryant Mangum's Fitzgerald books; Alice Adams items that are unpublished, as well as published but uncollected stories and reviews of all works; and two versions of Irwin Shaw's "The Girls in Their Summer Dresses." This collection is partially processed. It is available to use in part or in whole. The collection is part of the Publications Archive, and is comprised of archival copies of all Bulletins / Calendars / VMFA Magazines published by the museum since 1940. The publishing frequncy has changed many times (monthly, quarterly, bi-monthly) and the title changed three times, but the publication has always served to document the daily activities at the museum, including exhibitions, tours, programs, lectures, and more.

This collection contains correspondence, clippings, newsletters, photographs, certificates, broadsides, catalogs, notes, lectures, appraisals, articles, DVDs, audio cassettes, and VHS tapes related to the Caroline Brandt's building of The McGehee Miniature Book Collection. The bulk of the collection is reference materials on the miniature books as well as appraisals documenting the collection and its value. Brandt spent most of her life building a collection of 15,000 miniature books, which now reside in the Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library. The McGehee Miniature Book Collection, named after her first husband, C. Coleman McGehee, a UVA alumnus, came to the library in 2005.

Dr. Rhodes was an English and Women's Studies professor at Old Dominion University. The collection includes course descriptions, grant reports, meeting minutes from various women's groups, information pertaining to the Title IX hearings, books, journal articles, newspaper clippings, newsletters and photographs.

Carroll LaHaye Collection 8.25 Linear Feet 6 boxes, 1 oversize flat file box; approximately 230 physical items, 70 digital files

The Carroll LaHaye Collection primarily contains photographs, professional awards, memorabilia, and other materials documenting Carroll LaHaye's coaching career of women's basketball at Randolph-Macon College from the 1980s to 2020. The bulk of materials relate to the 1996 and 2005 basketball championship seasons. A few materials in the collection relate to LaHaye's coaching of women's lacrosse at R-MC, including a lacrosse ball signed by the 1982 team that played in the AIAW National Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
