The records of the Virginia Gamma Chapter the Mortar Board honor Society at the College of William and Mary include annual reports, correspondence, fliers and publications, as well as scrapbooks.
Contains photographs of Mortar Board members in the Sunken Garden during the 1997-1998 academic year and certificates of awards for the William and Mary chapter of Mortar Board.
Contains one scrapbook detailing events from 1990 to 2002 and contains photographs, clippings, and certificates of the society.
One scrapbook consisting almost entirely of photographs of the Mortar Board honor society from 2004 to 2005.

Mortar Board began in 1918 as the first-ever national organization honoring senior college women. Today, it has grown into a comprehensive honor society that selects members who exemplify the ideals of scholarship, leadership and service.
