- Scope and content:

This collection consists of typed, printed, clipped, and handwritten recipes, likely from the early 20th century. A majority of the recipes are recipe cards. Some of the recipes are organized by type of meat or food category but not all of them have an organization. There are also documents that are not recipes, like advertisements, coupons, and a telegram. Some of the recipes include curried chicken pie, spanish rice, and soft ginger cookies.
There is no indication from the recipes who may have collected and created the collection.

- This collection was purchased by Special Collections and Univeristy Archives in 2024.

The processing, arrangement, and description of the Personal Recipe Collection was completed in April 2026.

This collection was orginally received partially organized. While processing the collection, unsorted recipes were organized into pre-existing categories and placed into boxes and folders. Two recipe card boxes were consolidated down into one small box, located inside the carton.
