This collection contains a salesman sample book displaying the products of Strietmann Biscuit Co. The book contains photos, both in color and in black and white, of the Strietmann factory and it's products. These products include a variety of cookies, biscuits, and crackers. The date of this item is unknown, but it likely dates from after 1943.

Biographical / historical:

This catalogue was issued after the Strietmann Biscuit Co. moved locations from their original Cincinnati factory to their factory in Mariemont, Ohio in 1943. The Strietmann Biscuit Co. produced a wide variety of cookies and crackers, and as part of the United Biscuit Company after 1927 became one of the earliest bakeries to bake Girl Scout Cookies. Their "Zesta Soda Crackers" are now used by Keebler.

This collection was purchased by Special Collections and University Archives in 2022.
