Records, 1947-2003, of Virginia District Pilot International consisting of correspondence, directories, financial records, handbooks, histories, manuals, minutes, newsletters, notes, reports, rosters, surveys, and other papers which document and detail the history, organization, and goals of the Virginia District Pilot International.

Biographical / historical:

Pilot Internation was chartered as a service organization in Macon, Georgia, in 1921. The Virginia District began in 1937, when the first Pilot club in Virginia was established in Bristol. Currently, the Virginia District consists of thirteen clubs.
