He worked as a lawyer, served in the Air Force during World War II, and was president of WVU's Alumni Association from 1968-1969. He was released from active duty as a Lieutenant Commander in 1945. Collection includes photographs, correspondence, clippings, writings, and printed material. Subjects of photographs include the Dill family and student life and football players at WVU in the mid-1920s. Correspondence includes material related to Posten's military service.
