This two-page autograph manuscript, ca. 1924-1926, "Bolatín de una noche" ("report on a night") by Jorges Luis Borges, written in Spanish and corrected by the author, was intended as an essay in El Idiona de los Argentinosbut was apparently rejected and never published. Borges "writes of returning home, immersed in sleep and silence. His sense of being alone and enveloped in the house's deep darkness induces him to reflect on his own being. This thirteen-page autograph manuscript, "El Muerto," by Jorge Luis Borges, is a short story which was published in his El Aleph.Written on graph paper of varied cut sizes with paper covers, it includes extensive revisions in the form of line throughs.

This original autograph manuscript, La Cábalaby Jorge Luis Borges, is an extremely important addition as a study of the Cabala in original manuscript form. One of Borges' last important books dealt specifically with the topic of the Cabala. The one-page manuscript, written in Spanish, is signed and dated, circa 1943, by Borges.

This is a signed autograph letter, 1935, from Jorge Luis Borges, Mar del Plata, Argentina, to Ramón Sopena, director of Editorial Sopena, Buenos Aires, Argentina, written on the verso of two postcards of scenes in Mar del Plata. Borges mentions authors [Alejandro] Xul Solar (1887-1963), Manuel Peyrou (1902- ), Amado Alonso (1896-1952) and Pedro Henriquez Urena. He refers to several of his own published poems and other writings, including: Fervor de Buenos Aires, Cuaderno San Martín, Muertes de Buenos Aires, Luna de Enfronte, Historia Universal de la Infamia, El Espantoso Redentor Lazarus Morell, and El Tintorero Enmascarado Hàkim de Merv.

This is a three-page autograph manuscript, "Música Patria," written in 1919, with additions in 1920 and 1923, by Jorge Luis Borges. There are numerous corrections and revisions by Borges. There are three sketches by Borges included in the manuscript of a farm scene, two musicians and a couple dancing.

This postcard with a photograph of Borges, is inscribed "a Haydee Martinez, con total amistad- Jorge Luis Borges 1931-," and bears the device Borges habitually included with his signature.

Borges's poem "A Mi Padre" is signed "Buenos Aires 1938 J.L.B." and has a sketch of a broadleaf tree at the bottom.

This is a nine-page autograph manuscript, "Viejo Hábito Argentino," written in 1946 and revised in 1950 and 1955, by Jorge Luis Borges. There are six sketches by Borges included in the manuscript, two as part of his signature. There is a detailed one half-page sketch of "dio Hydra der Diktator." This manuscript was subsequently published as Nuestro Pobre Individualismo.
