Scope and content:

This original autograph manuscript, La Cábalaby Jorge Luis Borges, is an extremely important addition as a study of the Cabala in original manuscript form. One of Borges' last important books dealt specifically with the topic of the Cabala. The one-page manuscript, written in Spanish, is signed and dated, circa 1943, by Borges.

This manuscript was purchased by the Library from Libreria del Antano, Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 26, 1989.
