This collection consists of a scrapbook fragment (1 page) compiled by Cadet Sydney Strother Smith, VMI Class of 1937. The page contains four items, including:

• A receipt for two swords from the Lilley-Ames Company
• Finals program
• Final Ball program
• Roster, Company "C"

The Tangi Meli scrapbook (1912-1916) contains material about the club and VMI activities. Tangi Meli was a cadet social club organized circa 1912. It was one of several such "semi-secret" societies that appeared in the years after fraternities were outlawed at VMI.

The collection consists of three VMI scrapbooks compiled by Cadet Theodore F. Morton during the period of 1916 to 1919. The scrapbooks include photographs, dance programs, and other VMI memorabilia.

This collection (approximately 20 items) consists of items related to Thomas B. Scott, Jr., VMI Class of 1914. Inlcuded is a cadet scrap book containing snapshots of Superintendent Edward W. Nichols, cadets, cadet activities, dance programs, and other VMI memorabilia. Also included are World War I postcards (15 items) and VMI postcards (4 items).

This collection (two items) consists of the cadet scrapbook and photograph album of Thomas Scott Nixon (VMI Class of 1923) covering the period of 1919 to 1920. The scrapbook includes snapshots, dance programs, clippings, drawings, and other VMI memorabilia. Topics of the photographs include classmates and friends, cadet life, athletics, and VMI buildings.

This collection consists of VMI cadet scrapbooks that feature photographs, memorabilia, and other items that document cadet life.

Scrapbooks of newspaper clippings providing a chronological view of VMI activities, events. Categories include general topics; sports, and special topics. From the 1950's forward these were compiled by the Public Relations staff; prior to that date they originated with various other employees, including the Librarian Nellie Gibbs. The Gibbs sometimes contain photographs pasted to pages.

Loose leaf photocopied pages from the Cadet newspaper and copies of other material documenting VMI track and cross country events for the period 1969-1970. Also contains program and DVD documenting the dedication of the Cormack Field House, 1986; DVD also includes 3 minute clip of a VMI parade ca. 1969.

This collection consists of one scrapbook (1929-1930) compiled by Cadet William A. Garbutt, VMI Class of 1933. Garbutt. The scrapbook includes photographs of cadet life, classmates, and buildings, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia.

This collection consists of one VMI scrapbook compiled by Cadet William A. Hopkins, Jr. from 1921 to 1925. The scrapbook contains autographs and nicknames of classmates, items concerning athletic events, photographs, dance programs, and other VMI mementos.
