The Beulah O. Allen Collection contains a variety of materials from Allen's life. Her papers contain correspondence with a variety of friends and associates, primarily Lucy Lee Lancaster, the first female graduate from Virginia Tech. In addition, the collection also contains Virginia Tech Commencement programs, Cotillion Club Dance programs, resources related to the Virginia Tech Library, newspaper clippings about the construction of the new Newman Library, and a large collection of photographs about the Town of Blacksburg and her friends and family.

However, Carrie T. Sibold's scrapbook journals, which run from 1974 to 1990, constitute the the bulk of the collection material.

THe collection contains the papers of Carter Perkins, Jr., a student at Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College (now Virginia Tech) in the 1890s and resident of Newport News, Virginia. The collection also contains university catalog of 1894-1895, school annuals (The Bugle) of 1895 and 1898, photographs, and fundraising literature for the construction of War Memorial Hall. The collection also includes two business account books, probably used by Perkins for bookkeeping coursework.
