The Marshall McDonald papers (approximately 90 items) include primarily correspondence (1861-1892), notes, scientific reports, and documents. Among the correspondents are several VMI alumni and faculty members and Civil War officers, including:

Series 1, Office Records, contains 2 boxes of materials about conferences, symposiums, speakers, budgets, grants, and projects pertaining to the Marshall-Wythe Institute.

This collection contains an expenditures ledger (1973-1974), lists of books donated to the library by faculty members (1976-1980), an accreditation report on the library (1973), and statistics on additions to the collection.

Collection contains materials belonging to William & Mary alumni, William Marsh, Class of 1938 and Linda Marsh, Class of 1972. Items in the collection include athletic clothing, track cleats, papers, and protest photographs.

Papers, 1870-1967, of Mary Eleanor (Davis) Ries. Includes correspondence of Ries with her parents, Donald Walton Davis [1882-1950] and Katherine (Bressler) Davis and other family members including her brother Donald Walton Davis, Jr. and sister Virginia Davis Faulconer as well as research notes, research papers, photographs, postcards, and memorabilia from her years at Smith College. The collection also includes papers of Donald Timmerman Ries and photographs of Williamsburg, Virginia and pets; and greeting cards.

This collection contains reports and booklets of the Metropolitan Criminal Justice Center at William & Mary's Marshall-Wythe School of Law. The records include an interim report of the Center, a survey of citizen opinions on crime, and booklets on the following topics: A Comparative Analysis of Police Organizations; Deferrence of Crime: A Reformulation of Chambliss' Typology of Deferrence; The Deferrent Effects of Sanctions; Discretion of Law Enforcement Officials; Juvenile Court Intake; On the Measurement of Social Role Adaptation in the Prison Community; Pilot City Project; Sanctions and Social Control; Sociological Perspective on Public Support for Capital Punishment; and Student Drug Use.

The records of the Virginia Gamma Chapter the Mortar Board honor Society at the College of William and Mary include annual reports, correspondence, fliers and publications, as well as scrapbooks.

Papers of Professor H.D. Corey, formerly economics professor at the College of William and Mary and of his wife, an active member of the Williamsburg Garden Club. Includes typescript of "American Foreign Trade Zone Policy and its Application to Hampton Roads" by Hibbert D. Corey, August 1930 and a "Rose Test Notes" scrapbook and related papers from the Williamsburg Garden Club, 1947-1957.
