The collection includes papers written by Born during the course of his attendance at William & Mary, mainly for English classes. There is also correspondence from 1985 and loose pages from a photo album believed to have been assembled by Born, while a student at William & Mary. The contents are primarily photographs of campus and Williamsburg area from the 1926-1927. Additional photographs relate to life in rural, early twentieth century Virginia, the Newport News Shipyard, Carter's Grove Plantation, and the myths of Blackbeard. Also includes some photographs of locations outside of Williamsburg such as Mount Vernon and New York City.

Men's and Women's Soccer Records, 1965/2022

The collection contains programs, newsletters, clippings, box scores, photographs, game footage and other material related to the College of William and Mary Men's and Women's Soccer teams from 1965 to 2022. Also included are clippings, photographs, and articles about local soccer camps and tournaments that were held at William and Mary. A majority of the material in the collection, including the long run of "soccer scrapbooks," pertains mainly to the Men's team between the years of 1965 and 2003 and was originally compiled by former Men's Soccer head coach, Al Albert. Five folders of paper material and two audiovisual items pertain to the Women's team. The audiovisual material in the collection is largely game footage, much of which is recorded in DVD format and pertains to contests held between 1984 and 2013. Other games and soccer-related events, held mostly during the 1970s and 1980s, are recorded in various videotape formats.
