The collection includes writings of Gossman while a student at William & Mary, two letters to the faculty, and a black and white photograph of him with unidentified children (1954). Some of the writings are on various William & Mary-related letterhead: "The William and Mary Literary Magazine," "Ye Colonial Echo," and "William and Mary College Monthly." Gossman's letters to the faculty may be rough drafts. It is unclear if any were actually sent. The subject of both refer to his getting a degree from William & Mary. One particular letter describes the differences between what he labels "pay students" and "state students." He was a state student, meaning his tuition was paid for if he agreed to teach in Virginia schools after graduation.

This collection contains letters, a scrapbook, and other material of Janet Snyder during her time at the College of William and Mary from 1934-1937. Included in the papers are photographs of student activities such as football games, dances, and Commencement; a scrapbook of newspaper articles, course assignments, and programs from school plays and athletic events; and a photograph album featuring football games, students, the dedication of Duke of Gloucester Street in 1934, and the visit of U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to William and Mary in 1934.

This scrapbook was created by Julian Arlington Brooks, while a student at the College of William and Mary from 1916-1920. Included in the scrapbook are photos of campus buildings and students, women who may have been part of the first class of women at William and Mary, Kappa Alpha Order fraternity members, both a baseball and football player, and the Student Army Training Corps (original print of fire drill). There are also newspaper clippings about William and Mary baseball, a dance card program from the "Final Ball" cotillion dance in June 1919, and a blank Kappa Alpha membership card. There is also a loose clipping from a 1951 newspaper.

The collection includes awards and certificates of appreciation from organizations such as the Alumni Society, Circle K, Omicron Delta Kappa; photographs of Lambert with staff and students, as well as many College events such as Commencement, Parents Day, and ROTC Summer Camp; and a copy of a Commencement program from 1927 when Lambert graduated from William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts degree. The collection also contains a scrapbook including photographs, clippings, and other publications concerning the service of J. Wilfred Lambert to the College of William and Mary.

This collection includes photographs, fliers, scrapbooks, a dance card, programs, miscellaneous material, and a guest register of the Kappa Alpha, Alpha Zeta Chapter fraternity at the College of William and Mary. The fraternity is also known as Kappa Alpha Order. Many of the photographs document the fraternity's Old South Week and Old South Ball and are from the 1950s-1970. The earliest item in the collection is a dance card from 1915. The collection also includes three issues of the chapter's newsletter The News from 1929-1930. The most recent material from the chapter is event fliers.

This collections contains four letters written by Louise Grant and one received by her. The letters written by Grant date from 1937 and 1938, when Grant was a student at William & Mary. They are addressed to her parents. The letter received by Grant was written in 1935.

The scrapbook was created by Mary Ella Garrett between 1935-1936. Subjects include: William & Mary athletics (specifically football), Alpha Chi Omega, Colonial Williamsburg, and student life. Included in the scrapbook are newspaper clippings, football programs, Colonial Williamsburg brochures, ephemera, and photographs of Colonial Williamsburg, the William and Mary campus, the Alpha Chi Omega house and members, as well as female students.

The collection includes three scrapbooks Mary Mackey Sainsbury compiled during her years at the College of William and Mary. The scrapbooks include various material related to sororities and Greek life on campus, athletic tickets, postcards, news clippings, correspondence, photographs, and related material.

Contains notebooks, sheet music, correspondence, manuscripts and other material pertaining to Mary Thedieck Ewald, class of 1942 at the College of William and Mary. The bulk of the papers relates to Ewald's writing career, mainly poetry. The collection also contains notebooks from her undergraduate days at William & Mary as well as graduate notebooks from Harvard University.

The records of the Virginia Gamma Chapter the Mortar Board honor Society at the College of William and Mary include annual reports, correspondence, fliers and publications, as well as scrapbooks.
