Index Card Notes: To the honorable the general assembly of Virginia: Your memorialists, residents of the North-Western portion of the commonwealth, are informed, that it is the intention of the B&O Rail Road Co., to renew their application to your body for permission to construct their road through that section, to the Ohio River... Tyler County is fertile though hilly and abounds in minerals, but needs facilities to convey its product to markets... Your memorialists wish to be considered the real applicants for the right of way for the B&O Railroad... etc.
