Geological, topographical, and other maps of West Virginia and other locations. These maps are often of specific counties or groups of counties, including Berkeley, Braxton, Brooke, Cabell, Calhoun, Greenbrier, Hancock, Jefferson, Mason, McDowell, Mercer, Morgan, Ohio, Putnam, Roane, Wirt, and Wyoming Counties. Also includes maps of Virginia, #1 Mine Meadows Cannel Coal Co. of Kentucky, and Canada, as well as several of the entire state of West Virginia.
This collection originally included scrip from the New River company stores and pay ledgers and car load books from the Stevens Coal and Coke Company, which have since been moved to other collections. Please see the Separated Materials note for further information.
