Records collected by Paul Daugherty regarding family history. Includes materials documenting the Taylor, Broadwater, Lantz, Collins, Carmichael, and Ingraham families in the region of the counties of Ritchie, Doddridge, and Wood. The Taylors arrived in Ritchie County in 1842. The Broadwater family resided in Toll Gate, W. Va. in Ritchie County. There are family histories and genealogies, scrapbooks, photographs, and other material.
Volume I and IV
Includes obituaries and newsclippings relating to the Taylor, Zinn, and Broadwater families; a handwritten list of various names; a photocopy of honorable discharge certificate from the Grand Army of the Republic for Jacob Ingram; and several pages from a book on painting watercolor flowers.
Includes photographs, newspaper clippings, and handwritten genealogy notes regaring the Ingram, Carmichael, Lantz, and Baker families, among others. Original documents include V-mail from PFC Harry M. Carmichael (1944), birth certificate of Nora Belle Ingram (1876), and a promisory note for eighty dollars signed by Jacob Ingram (1915).
Includes clippings relating to Barr Wilson and Ritchie County cemeteries, as well as newsletters of the Ritchie County Historical Society.
Includes mostly newspaper clippings regarding Parkersburg history, and historic homes and individuals in Ritchie County. Some of these subjects include Gustavus Smith, the Charter House, the Old Malone Homestead, and Toll Gate, among others. Also includes several issues of the Ritchie County Historical Society newsletter.

Includes several letters from PFC Harry Carmichael during his service in World War II. Also includes various postcards and greeting cards dating from the 1910s and 1920s, along with various other correspondence. Newspaper clippings pertain to Leonard Broadwater's campaign for mayor of Parkersburg and a photograph of S.O. Steve Clayton, U.S. Navy, from World War II.
This scrapbook was originally Frye's Higher Geography, but many of the pages are covered with recipe clippings. Other clippings include ideas for needlwork, advertisements for cooking utensils and instructions for mixed drinks.
Scrapbook documenting bridge building in Hampshire, Kanawha, Wood, Grant, , Moragan, Boone, Wetzel, Tucker, Preston, Doddridge, Randolph, and Ritchie Counties, as well as various locations in North Carolina. Scrapbook also documents other types of construction projects as well as festivals and family outings.
