Abstract:
This collection consists of an initial accession of 16 boxes of bound volumes of news releases issued by WVU News and Information Services in the period 1946-1966. A second accession of 4 boxes dates from June 1964 to December 1968; these releases are unbound and may possibly be duplicates of material in the original accession. There are also 30 additional items consisting of biographical sketches of WVU staff members, professors, and administrators from the files of WVU News and information Services. Also includes several photographs. The department was earlier called the Bureau of Information.
