Collection consists of photostatic copies of: Two land grants to John M'culloch, 1784; land grant to Van Swearengen, 1787; captaincy appointment for George M'Colloch, 1804; land grant to John Bukey, 1809; bill of goods purchased from the estate of John J. Jacob, 1848; memo of agreement between Zachariah Jacob, Isaac W. Mitchell and Mahala W. Jacob, 1849; agreement between Mahala W. Jacob, Zachariah Jacob and David L. Richardson, 1857; and a lieutenant commission for Samuel Sprigg Jacob, 1861, signed by Governor John Letcher.
