Records related to West Virginia University's homecoming weekend celebrations in the 1950s consist of homecoming reports submitted by the homecoming coordinator from 1951, 1952, 1955, and from 1957 to 1961. Reports offers suggestions and advice for how to organize and prepare for the next year's homecoming weekend. Report also includes correspondence related to homecoming (chiefly suggestions for the following year); reports from committee chairmen (mostly preliminary preparations and recommendations); and newspaper clippings about the weekend.
