Records of Festus P. Summers regarding his activities as chairman of the West Virginia War History Commission. Contains a speech, newsletter, war records collecting manuals, lists of Office of Civilian Defense directors, lists of potential and confirmed war records collectors, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, and a traveling expense account.
Items within this collection include: drafts for a speech entitled "Let History Arm the Mind".
