This series includes collective bargaining agreements, correspondence, and plantwide negotiations between the United Glass and Ceramic Workers and the Pittsburgh Plate Glass factory in Clarksburg, WV. Also included are job descriptions, pay rates, arbitration case files, and assorted material regarding issues in various departments of the Clarksburg plant, including the Machine Cutting Department and the Shipping and Yard Department.
This series includes assorted financial reports, Pittsburgh Plate Glass membership reports, and issues of the "Union Tribune," the United Glass and Ceramic Workers union newsletter. Also included are pension and insurance materials, records of continuous service, and other assorted materials regarding union membership.
This series includes materials regarding two international unions, the Federation of Flat Glass Workers and the United Glass, Ceramic, and Silica Sand Workers. The Federation of Flat Glass Workers materials include the union constitution and meeting minutes. The United Glass, Ceramic, and Silica Sand Workers materials include arbitration case files, bound issues of "The Glass Workers News" (the official union publication), and conference materials.
