Background
- Scope and content:
-
Includes photos, supporting information, and copies of news releases from the West Virginia University News Service. The news releases relate to notable research by faculty, activities of the student body, new appointments in the university administration, and more. Much of the collection is composed of folders labeled with faculty names, which include completed biographical information forms and copies of the articles about them. Many of these folders include photographs to be used in the news releases, and a few of them include the subjects' curriculum vitae, which look to have been included to supplement biographical information forms. For more material related to WVU news releases, see A&M 5213, A&M 5188, and A&M 5212.
