Approximately 66 color photographs of the funeral of Robert C. Byrd (November 20, 1917 - June 28, 2010), a U.S. Senator from West Virginia. The photographs show a candid view of the crowd, events on the steps of the state capitol, and the procession in front of the Robert C. Byrd United States Courthouse and Federal Building in Charleston, West Virginia on July 2, 2010. Individuals who attended and spoke at the funeral include US President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, former President Bill Clinton, West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin, and other members of Congress and political figures.
