Microfilmed copy of a typescript history of the the Worthington, West Virginia, Christian Church, written and compiled by Harvey Channing Fortney in 1958 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the church. History contains two major components: biographies and autobiographies of prominent ministers and excerpts from old church record books. Materials based on and incorporated from old church record books include an alphabetical roster of church members from 1858 to 1958; church registers; and meeting minutes from the 1890s, early 1900s, 1924-1925, and 1939-1958.
