A weaver's notebook signed by Benjamin Davies (?) (1744) with mention of Birmingham [England]. Includes weaver's drafts, names of patterns, directions, some descriptions of patterns, details of pricing, and how much thread needed to be used. Also includes an account of fabrics purchased with cost and recipes to cure king's evil, shortness of breath, ague, colic, fever, and rheumatism. Also includes five pieces of cloth.
