Scope and content:

A collection of correspondence, guest lists, invitation programs, drafts, and other planning documents from Timothy J. Sullivan's inauguration as President of William & Mary.

Biographical / historical:

Timothy Jackson Sullivan was born in Ravenna, Ohio on April 15th, 1944. A graduate of the William & Mary Class of 1966, Timothy J. Sullivan served as the institution's 25th president from April 9th, 1992 to June 30th, 2005. Prior to his presidency, Sullivan served as a law professor at the college as well as both assistant and head dean of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law.

Acquisition information:
The Timothy J. Sullivan Inauguration Committee Records were donated by the President's Office through Michael Fox.
