Background
- Scope and content:
-
This collection consists of two programs, two digitized slide photographs, and a newspaper article related to William & Mary Commencement ceremonies in 1971 and 1974. The donor supplied this description for the photographs: "The picture is from our June, 1971, commencement ceremony in front of the Wren Building. I believe President Paschall is at the microphone with various dignitaries on the stage behind him. Backstory: While digging through an old basement box full of "stuff", I came across a random Kodachrome slide (Remember those?). I looked it at closely and figured out it was from our graduation ceremony. My memory, although vague, is that my father probably took the picture and then had it made into a slide.
