Scope and content:

Records, 1946-1979, of the Jamestown Corporation which was responsible for two of Paul Green's outdoor dramas, "The Common Glory," and "The Founders." Includes certificate of incorporation, by-laws, minutes, yearbooks, scripts, programs, ground plans, costume designs audio-visual materials, photographs, music and loose papers (correspondence and budgets).

Scope and Contents The minutes of the exectutive committee and the Boards of Trustees and Directors are arranged chronologically by year. Also included in this series is material on the organization of the Jamestown Corporation and its By laws and Certificate of Incorporation.

Scope and Contents Each year from 1947 to 1975 the Jamestown Corporation prepared a yearbook in which such materials as promotional material, financial reports, Paul Green correspondence, production material, and Board correspondence were arranged systematically. The Yearbooks are arranged chronologically and the original order of the material has been maintained.

Scope and Contents The collection includes scripts of the Common Glory from 1947-1976 and scripts of The Founders for the years 1957, 1958, and 1964. Included are scripts of the Stage Manager, the Technical Director, the Director, playwrite Paul Green, and of the lights and sound crews.

The Jamestown Corporation was responsible for two of Paul Green's outdoor dramas, "The Common Glory," and "The Founders." "The Common Glory" ran from 1947 to 1976 and "The Founders" was produced in 1957, 1958, and 1964.
