Scope and content:

The collection includes (Acc. 1987.35) an address by Prof. William George Guy at the Fourth Annual Honors Convocations, 1939; biographical materials and newspapers clippings; correspondence, 1930-1981; correspondence--Western Electric Company's Gift to the Physics Department in Memory of Loren Eastman Bennett, 1967; Pomfret, John Edwin--Portrait and Reminiscences, 1959-1966; publications; Robb, Robert Gilchrist--Portrait, 1958.

In addition (Acc. 1986.021), there are six notebooks of chemistry notes (c. 1918-1921); a minute book of Theta Chi Delta, Alpha Theta chapter, an honorary chemistry fraternity; three photographs; an unbound copy of Guy's Ph.D. dissertation (University of Chicago, 1925); an article about Guy; brochures from Guy Lecture Hall dedication; one round leather box.

Given by William Guy at the Fourth Annual Honors Convention.
