The collection contains two photograph albums containing images of the Sandys-Nelson family. Images contain those of two formerly enslaved women including Grace Frances and her mother Alice, as well as the family's Irish wet nurse, Maggie Shehee. The leather bound photograph album contains 36 carte-de-visite and tintype photographs. The red padded cloth bound photograph album contains 18 cabinet cards, 23 carte-de-visite photographs, and three tintype photographs.
