Background

Scope and content:

The cassette tape recording contains an interview with Alan Cheuse (29 minutes) by Rebekah Presson of "New Letters on the Air" about his book, Fall Out of Heaven. Cheuse also reads two selections from his novel about his trip to Moscow and an adventure of his father's among the Uzbek people. The interview was recorded at the 1987 Bennington Writing Workshop at Bennington College, Vermont.
