Scope and content:

The records of the commitees of the Board of Visitors, chiefly minutes of meetings and correspondence. Also included are some ad hoc committees and some special committees; however, most special committees (i.e. nominating committees) are accessioned separately.

Committees are: the Finance Committee, Buildings and Grounds Committee, Student Affairs and Athletics Committee, Educational Policy Committee, Health Affairs Committee, External Affairs Committee, the Audit Committee, and The University of Virginia's College at Wise Committee.

This collection was transferred to the library from the Board of Visitors 2000 November 30.
