There are nine items, chiefly letters, 1963, concerning copyrights and the estate of John Powell. Included is correspondence of Richard Florance of Florance, Gordon, and Brown, Attorneys at Law, Richmond, Virginia (co-executor of Powell's estate), and Mason, Fenwick & Lawrence, of Washington, D. C. (patent and trade-mark lawyers). There is a letter, December 23, 1963, from Florance to Ernest C. Mead of the University of Virginia and Hilton Ruffy of Richmond, Virginia, concerning the Powell manuscripts at the University of Virginia and the Library of Philadelphia.
