[Thompson informed Greene, an autograph collector, about the death of his sister and sent him a list of autographs that he sent to Greene. He also mentioned an Excise-Book [sic] of Robert Burns. ]
[Thompson wrote briefly to Barbour to inform him when he would be in Richmondnext.]
[Walker wrote that he was not able to obtain the autographs that Denham was seeking. He also mentioned the autographs of Lee and Jackson. He enclosed a newsclipping (below) with details of the life of John R. Thompson. ]
[Barbour wrote that he could spare a letter of John R. Thompson's for Denham. Walker's letter (above) was enclosed with this letter. The postscript mentions a letter Barbour found of Thompson's which he sent.]
