There are ca. 40 items, 1725-1930 and n.d., consisting of land grants, deeds, surveys and plats, and other papers pertaining to the Blackwelland Smithand related families, chiefly of Fauquier County, Virginia; and, printed material. Printed articles pertain to the Blackwell family, Civil War heroes, George Washington, the United States Army, and Randolph-Macon College. There are also two small published works, Baptismal Vows(1863) and Military and Naval Insignia and Novelties(1914).
