[Concerns Kirk's copyright of Gaussen on Inspiration; says that when Baker and Scribner purchased from John S. Taylorhis stock in trade, they did not purchase the stereotype plates of Kirk's work; says that any edition printed since must have been done by Taylor; states that Scribner'sdid not authorize it nor has it had any profit from sales.]
