Scope and content:

From around 2012 to 2026, the University of Virginia Law Library wrote and published short biographies of selected UVA Law School alums on its website. Part of this collection consists of web archive files that a Library archivist created when crawling those biographies on the website. The rest of the collection consists of PDF files containing the text of each biography.

Acquisition information:

On July 28, 2026, an archivist at the University of Virginia Law Library created the files in this collection using data downloaded from the Internet. On the same day, they transferred the files to the Law Library's archive.
