Background

Scope and content:

A scrapbook containing 670 unused Civil war patriotic envelopes with decorative designs, some printed in multiple colors, and eight Confederate engraved banknotes, all pasted down onto the scrapbook leaves.

This collection was donated by Barbie Selby to the Small Special Collections Library at the University of Virginia Library on 10 September 2019.
