Scrapbook of pertinent clippings from newspapers and magazines about the Civil War.

Biographical / historical:

Charlottesville initiated its chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy on May 15, 1894, before the National society was founded in September 1894. The Virginia Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy was established 1895.
