Transcription: [double-headed eagle] The Schaffer Collection of Russian Imperial Art Treasures ROCKEFELLER CENTER, NEW YORK December 1, 1936 #906 Miniature Easter egg by "Carl G. Fabergé", the celebrated Russian Court jeweler cut out of a brilliant cerise-colored Ural stone set in a delicate open-work gold mounting. From the collection of the Grand Duchess Maria Nicholaievna, third daughter of Nicholas II, the late Czar of Russia.
