Dear Mrs. Pratt:

Please forgive me for not answering your letter of the 14th at once, but I wanted to receive the articles before writing to you.

I am enclosing a receipt for them. They all arrived in good condition including the flower.

Regarding the Globe Flowers, there was one stem without jade leaves. That is the way it was made. It is all complete so you needn't worry about it.

I am glad you like the little blue velvet stand. I am indeed sorry that you could not manage to visit us during your last visit. I do hope you can do so when you come again.
