This collection contains newspaper clippings from 1958-1976 covering various topics in music, folktales and folksongs. Booklets and brochures cover events such as the performance of Feather Crowns by William Stapleton Long and the 29th annual convention of the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs. A script for Our Yesterday and a flyer for the Skyline Bluegrass Festival are also included. Miscellaneous articles include a bulletin called Virginia Folklore Society, a newsletter from the University of Virginia about Folklore and Folksongs in Virginia and a book The Mountain Mystery by G.M.N Parker.Various documents such as Folklore in Virginia and Collection of Folktales round out the collection.
