Scope and content:

This collection contains a letter written by Stephen Dill Lee to Mrs. Gray dated December 28, 1904. Lee thanks Mrs. Gray for her kind Christmas letter and writes that it caused him to recall events from the American Civil War era, during which he served with her husband.

Gift of Dr. J. Holt Merchant, Jr. in 1983.
