This collection contains typed letters dated July 14, 1934 and July 25, 1936 to Miss Helen Webster of Sunnyside, Lexington, Virginia.

Biographical / historical:

Freeman was a Richmond, Virginia journalist and historian who wrote the definitive biography of Robert E. Lee.
