This collection of photos are mostley of Rockbridge County, Virginia people and places, connected to the Major family and their relatives.
- Acquisition information:
- Edith Miller Funkhouser (1921–1999), who married Francis Donald Major on April 13, 1960, was the daughter of Wilton Leitch Funkhouser and Martha McCormick Snider. She lived in the Natural Bridge/Fancy Hill area of Rockbridge County and was buried at the Falling Springs Cemetery. Together with her husband, she had a son, Lawrence "Butch" Major. Butch Major was born April 1, 1946 and passed away May 29, 2009. He is buried in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rockbridge County, Virginia.
