Scope and content:

This collection consists of seven printed certificates of distinction on parchment received by Gilbert Gibson while a student at Washington College, now Washington and Lee University, dated 1867-1869, his Bachelor of Law Degree (1971 July 22), and his admission to the Alumni Association (1869).
