Background

Scope and content:

This collection consists of Goodridge Wilson's article on Natural Bridge, photos of Natural Bridge stables and the formation itself, a paper written for NC State University entitled "Jefferson's Natural Bridge: A Monument for the New Nation" by Marty D. Matthews from December 19th 1994, photos of natural bridge, photocopies of articles on Natural Bridge, a typescript exerpt from a letter of Thomas Jefferson's about Natural Bridge, a typescript essay about the history of Natural Bridge, and a photocopy of a handwritten poem entitled "the Bridge" about Natural Bridge.
