Background

Scope and content:

This collection consists of one cadet scrapbook compiled by Marshall Ambler Glazebrook (VMI Class of 1925). The scrapbook contains photographs, correspondence, newspaper and advertisement clippings, drawings and annotations, scraps of uniforms, and monthly grade reports. Many of the scrapbook pages are filled in and contain information about VMI athletics, clubs, social functions and events, professors, and classmates.

Physical facet:
The scrapbook binding is in poor condition and the rear binding is missing. The pages are fragile, so care must be taken when handling this item. Additionally, some photographs show signs of significant damage. The book contains loose items that are included in a separate envelope that accompanies the scrapbook.
