Background

Scope and content:

Large and small format theater display posters for the 1952 Warner Bros. motion picture "About Face." This military school comedy was based on a play by John Monks, Jr. (VMI Class of 1932) who also wrote Brother Rat. The school depicted in the movie is modeled after the Virginia Military Institute.
