Scope and content:

This collection consists of one document that lists laundry for VMI Cadet Charles Balmer for the period of May to August 1882.

Biographical / historical:

Charles Balmer was born in 1865 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a non graduate of VMI (Class of 1886) and went on to become a composer and musician. Balmer died in 1941 in St. Louis.
